According to Jean-Pierre Klein, "Art therapy can be defined as the accompaniment of people placed in a position of creation so that their journey, from work to work, becomes a process of self-transformation."
In my practice, I start my session with a "relaxation", a moment to prepare the body and mind before the creative time.
I then accompany each person during the creative process, adapting myself to everyone's physical and psychological needs and possibilities.
I use a variety of art materials and techniques to help each person express themselves.
My "toolbox" includes drawing, painting, collage, assemblage, modeling, printmaking and plaster, to name a few.
The opportunity to regain self-confidence

Reduces anxiety and fear
The opportunity to consider our resilience
Art therapists work in individual or small group sessions.
The frequency of the sessions is decided with the participant and/or the family.
Depending on the pathologies, number of participants and age, the sessions usually last between 30 minutes and one hour.
The cost of a session is between 40 and 60 € per hour.
Art therapy may be available in nursing homes, EHPAD's, psychiatric hospitals, IME's, CMP's and private practices; home sessions may be considered in some cases.
Art therapy can be practiced at any age :
Young children with behavioral problems, for "ordinary" children with weaknesses, hyperactive or others
People with autism of all ages
Anyone with a disability or looking to express themselves
Older people with Alzheimer's disease or other degenerative dementias
